For this Kissimmee homeowner, converting their existing lanai into a full screen enclosure created a more comfortable and functional area to enjoy the outdoors and take in the peaceful lake setting.
MD Construction removed the original screen walls and nearby fencing to make room for a combo-style enclosure. The finished structure spans 28 ft x 8 ft, featuring a solid 3 inch insulated aluminum roof on one side and an open screen roof on the other. This offers just the right mix of shade and breeze.
To support the expanded area, we installed new footings and pavers, giving the space a polished and durable foundation. With 8 inch aluminum kick plates, 7 inch super gutters, and a strong aluminum frame, this upgraded enclosure is built to last and ready to enjoy year-round—whether for morning coffee or evening sunsets by the lake.
